Im gearing this strictly on the high end. Sorry to whomever that leaves out, but Those polls have been taken before... Im curious how deep the pool is at the deep end on these boards...

 

also, select your choice as the minimum up to the next level listed... I should have put full ranges in, not just threshholds...

I bid that amount on the Detective #38 CGC 9.4 that Parrino had up on e-bay last year. Won the auction (duh, one would hope so), but it didn't meet reserve. According to the CBG issue that covered the auction, this was the highest amount ever bid on a single comic, at least at that time. I don't think he ever sold it. It was on his website recently for $225,000. I don't think so! makepoint.gif
