tth2
Nice varying purple/magenta tones on this fairly scarce cover: I love the fact that the new Batman and Robin each has a big Roman numeral II on their chests.
Jeffro.
This looks like a job for Superm.... err.....the Human Torch. Ken WTF???? Only strenghtens my theory that DC had some substance abusing beatniks writing for them in the 50's. Oh yeah, now I HAVE to find a copy of that

adamstrange
Adam, Yes, it is the WM copy. I was fortunite to get a few of my favorite Strange Adventures from this collection and had to pay quite a premium for them, but they are so hard to find in nice shape. Ken When you're buying from Marnin... But in this case I doubt I could have resisted either.

steelcity
Lois Lane #1 is just one of those hopeless books all DC collectors yearn for!
steelcity
This cover is just embarrassing. Pa's really lost it and poor Martha is considering a trial separation...

steelcity
Very unusual dark green tones on Adventure Comics #235. Not surprising that this issue rarely turns up above a fine.
steelcity
Adventure Comics #242 is one of my very favorite covers from this title. Something exciting often happens when the Kents are in the garden. Martha relaxing at her needlework, Jonathan gently working the ground, Clark hanging about - often worryingly conspicuous in his Superboy costume. The scene is set! This cover was re-worked for Adventure Comics #260.
