This is it! The Original Art session of the Featured Auction closes today! The depth of quality and breadth of this offering is our strongest yet, so it is an opportunity not to be missed by any discerning art collector!

Included in the auction are significant pieces from a myriad of genres, ranging from exciting covers to high quality splash, panel and illustration pages. Moreover, most of the artwork is consigned with confidence -- with absolutely no seller reserve -- which ensures that high bidders are guaranteed to take them home for their winning bids!

Here are some highlights:

Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott’s cover to Fantastic Four #92 -- a rare Silver Age cover from this title by this all star artist pairing.

Kirby's Fantastic Four #40 finale page - at the close of this classic two issue saga, Doom is finally defeated by the Thing!

Numerous other exciting pages by Jack "The King" Kirby!

Dave Cockrum's Dramatic Return of PHOENIX cover from X-men #125.

The wraparound cover to Elektra Saga #3 -- an incredible front cover of the assassin leaping into action with a formidable profile image with ninjas on the back -- 100% Frank Miller and rare, rare, rare!

Cosmic 1970s Jim Starlin artwork featuring Warlock, Thanos, Magus and more!

The very strong painted New Mutants cover to issue #27 featuring Legion, by the immeasurably talented Bill Sienkiewicz.

A very uncommon John Byrne cover from the Fantastic Four series -- issue #275 -- featuring a very pissed off She-Hulk (who at the time took Thing's place on the team) along with a Stan Lee look-a-like!

Twice-Up, early Spider-Man Todd McFarlane artwork with huge splash-sized and cover images of Spidey!

Fan-favorite Jim Lee artwork including splash pages for All Star Batman and Robin #1 and #9, a painted Red Sonja cover, and more!

A truly amazing Amazing Spider-Man #69 page featuring a large 4 panel battle betwen Spider-Man and the Kingpin, with the scene that appears on the cover of the issue!

Two New Teen Titans covers from the original series and one uncommon, oversized color cover from the "Baxter" run.

The 1963 Title Splash from Justice League America #19 featuring the entire team of eight JLA members and large images of each: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter!

Numerous other exciting covers, such as: Alan Davis' X-men Annual #11 cover; Mike Kaluta's Private Files of the Shadow Trade Paperback cover; Mike Mignola's Hellboy - Bride of Hell cover; John Buscema's Conan #151 cover; Steve McNivan's Civil War #7 cover; Brian Bolland's Wonder Woman #82 cover; Frank Cho's Witchblade #80 and Jungle Girl #3 covers; Frank Quitely's Authority #13 cover (the 1st in Quitely/Millar run), Dan Jurgens' Superman vs. Doomsday Advance Promo cover; Joe Jusko's Marvel Comics Guide to NYC cover; Michael Golden's Batman #485 cover, Frank Miller's Marvel Team-Up #99 cover (Spider-Man/Machine Man), John Romita, Jr.'s Amazing Spider-Man #244 cover and so many more!

An eclectic assortment of Bernie Wrightson artwork, including masterfully detailed illustration artwork and significant splash pages.

An assortment of significant pages such as: An introduction of the Black Cat page from her first appearance issue, Amazing Spider-Man #194, the Conan #100 page featuring the Death of Belit, the splash page to the 2nd Howard the Duck solo story, published in Giant-Size Man-Thing #5, and an early Deadpool title splash from X-Force #5.

Scarce painted illustrations by Sprang housing the classic cover images from Batman #23 and #73 and a gorgeous L.B. Cole Terrors of the Jungle recreation.

Now classic 1960s-1980s (and older) artwork by the pioneers, including: Neal Adams, John Bolton, Frank Brunner, John Byrne, Gene Colan, Steve Ditko, Bill Everett, Frank Frazetta, Paul Gulacy, Don Heck, Carmine Infantino, Gil Kane, Jack Kirby, Gary Larson (yes, the Far Side), Moebius, Joe Orlando, George Perez, John Romita, John Romita, Jr., Charles Vess, and Wally Wood.

Gorgeous Modern Era artwork by the likes of Art Adams, Simon Bisley, J. Scott Campbell, Frank Cho, David Finch, Gary Frank, Adam Hughes, James Jean, Phil Jiminez, Dale Keown, Greg Land, Joseph Michael Linsner, Mike Mignola, Andrew Pepoy (though not sure gorgeous is the way to describe this one!), Joe Quesada, Alex Ross, Tim Sale, Michael Turner, and more!

Everything mentioned in this article is just the tip of the proverbial artwork iceberg in our Spring Featured Auction! Don't forget to bid - the auction starts closing this coming Tuesday, and the original art session starts closing on Thursday at 8pm Eastern Time!

We are also now accepting consignments of quality original artwork (and comic books, of course) for our Summer Featured Auction which will commence in August. This will be another strong one, and consigning now ensures early auction preview exposure to potential bidders. If interested, simply email buysell@comiclink.com with your prospective auction list, or call 617-517-0062 (option 1) to speak with Josh Nathanson, Douglas Gillock, Jason Crosby, Sean Goodrich, or other members of the ComicLink team. We are also accepting consignments for the Exchange and private placement sales, and purchasing outright.
