Two things to watch out for - terrible cell phone service if you have ATT and don't try the CheerWine since its addictive.

 

Cant stress this enough. Having at&t is horrible in that place. I had to go outside several times to check GPA etc during the show.

 

Try being a seller - I had to go to the top of the main escalator to run any credit cards. That was my biggest complaint of the Con and it was only Att.

 

Don't be so cheap, rent a Verizon wireless hotspot for the weekend 2c

That was an option but it was crazy expensive. Didn't see that option up here at the Cleveland Wizard show because all cell phones worked great at the hall.

Yes - the only DA wireless provider to not put a cell tower in the convention center when we had the DNC back in 2012

 

And make sure you buy the Cheerwine in the bottles

Ahh - all the grease you need in one spot! We love fatty foods but the south REALLY loves deep fried food.

I just need to stop at the store and preregister for the 3 day pass again. The plan is the same as last year and do all my shopping on Friday and then bring our grandson on Saturday.

 

I've also made arrangements to pick up my latest piece of commissioned art work on Friday at the show.

Picking up one at home commission at the show and was hoping on a second one but it is going to be after the show before he finishes so I will probably try and line up another one.

I do the same. Buy all my stuff friday and just hang out saturday and check out all the stuff going on. Sunday is usually a casual walk around and maybe some panels for me .

wonder if they will have a big name again this year announced before the show like they usually do.

 

I'm hoping so because right now the guest list sort of has a "And the crowd goes mild!" sort of feel to it.

 

Looking forward to Grell and Basil Gogos though.
