I would agree with a VG. That comic kills me - Uncle Marvel, the fat Uncle with the bulbous nose and thinning hair.

Without the erasures I would have said FN, with them VG seems reasonable.

VG sounds about right.

If it's a true Golden Age book (from the 40s, not the 50s) then you may still get a 4.5/5.0 from the GA curve.
