Quality of books from StanLeeStuff.com ?

Hi guys --

I've never ordered anything from StanLeeStuff.com but there are a few things I really want. Has anyone sent in those books for grading? How is the quality generally? I'd like to think that they would always send out 9.8s, but you never know... and the fact that they say nothing about quality worries me..

It's not possible for any store, retailer or person to send out "only 9.8's". Too many books are printed less than 9.8. To many more arrive from the distributor less than 9.8 And 9.8 is grade that no one could call 100% of the time. Unless they worked at a grading company. In which case it is a 9.8 because they say so.

 

It appears that when they get books that they think are not NM, they say so. Look at the Captain America #1 books. They specifically say the books are NM/NM- and they arrived that way from the distributor.
