Comics sold at NYCC

I'm new to comics so forgive me if this is obvious to you.

 

Are comics sold directly at NYCC at the artists signing table? For example, I want to buy Campbells RYVs variants but im not sure if i should skip ebay and just buy at his table directly

They will sometimes have a few but nothing you can count on for sure. I'm not specifically sure about Camblell but that is the case with most. I would buy it ahead of time myself.

Some companies such as Valiant usually has a lot of their con exclusives out for their artists to sketch and sign. Many artists and writers like Peter David bring something with them be it a book or comic for con goers to purchase and have signed. In fact many of them say that a signature is free for anything you buy at their table.

If you sign up for the NYCC website they will send you e-mails, some will include exclusives.

 

Most publishers will have booths there and most of those booths will have exclusives that you can find online and in the directory before the show.

 

Just keep in mind that instead of DC you want to look for Graphitti.

 

Also, for Image you want both Image and Skybound.
