Mylar bags for CGC slabs - Which ones to use?

9 posts in this topic

I've been considering rebagging all my modern/ TMNT vol 1 slabs with the Mylar bags.

Has anyone done this? and if so which ones did you use? there seems to be a few different kinds, but I really want the one which aren't lose on the sides?

I tired searching but nothing came up on this.

Thanks!

Just curious, why would you want to use mylar when the comic is slabbed? Seems like a waste of money.

When you display them for sale on the wall rack the mylars are better visually than the cheap plastic bags they come in.

It's true. Slabs do look much, much cooler in mylar.

Their website is down for maintenance at the moment, so I can't provide a link. But, my favorite CGC mylar bags are made by BCE Mylar. Go to www.bcemylar.com. They have bags for standard and giant slabs.

They fit tight, so there's no excess bag on the sides like the ones that are usually offered on eBay. I hate the excess because it causes the CGC box to bow out.
