A book like this needs a special buyer to set the price. I'll pay $500 for an authenticated set, so its worth at least that much.

I know that overstreet guide said 1 sold for 1200, but that was a long time ago. I have only ever seen 1 and at that time I did not realize it had the xerox copies of Kamandi 60 and 61.

 

So the important question is, do you have one?

I think the copies I have are 3rd or 4th generation copies.

If you read the wiki description it says they were made on the office copier... so yeah.

Some years back I was bidding hard for an original set and dropped out at $2500. If memory serves it went for around $3k

 

I believe it was the Vince Colletta set?

 

As it turns out a friend of mine won it, and he ended up running off a half dozen copies for interested friends, so I got a Xerox copy for free.

 

Easy to copy, probably buckets of copies out there scattered around.
