Detached cover question

If a cover is completely detached at both staples, does that make it qualified or does it lower the grade (or both)?

I think it should receive the blue label. Only qualified label will go to the high grade copy with the detached cover at one staple.

I believe it can be either/or. If its a low grade book and the cover is detached it will get a blue label. If it is an otherwise high grade book that is detached at both staples it will be green. It would be noted on the either color label. I have had a 3.5 with the cover detached.

this is true... if the book is otherwise a high grade copy and the cover is detached, then it can get a green label

 

if it's a lower grade copy with cover detached, it'll get a blue with "cover detached" on the label.
