Please grade this Hero for Hire #1!

New copy... an ebay win that exceeded my expectations (yes, it can happen!). There's just a hint of reader crease if you look closely, but a very nice clean cover, and inks and gloss are really strong and vibrant. That's not a tear in the middle of the bottom edge; looks more like a printing hiccup. A few small scuffs around the edges.

5.0

All four Corners are rough.

Multiple creases and spine ticks.

Multiple creases. Color break.

Back cover is worn.

Wow! I want to buy all the 5.0 Hero for Hire #1's you've got.

I'll bump it to a 6.0 but thats about it

Seriously, I dont see this grading higher

Black covers are tough as they can highlight every color breaking ding, and while this book still has strong eye-appeal, I have to agree with Pete G. There is just too much corner, spine and edge wear for a 7.0 IMHO, add in the small reading crease and it's a 6.0 tops. I was thinking 5.5 when I first looked at it.
