This cover could be interpreted in many ways....

 

Casper and Wendy enjoying their own special brew of Cloud Beer?

Or maybe it's supposed to be some type of twist on an ice cream float.

Or since the cover is October, perhaps Warren Kremer was celebrating Oktoberfest after all.

Maybe he was thirsty

Oh when cartoons were cartoons...

 

Reminds me of the days when a cat could fire multiple shotgun blasts at a mouse in one episode, and that same cat and mouse could get hammered on champagne in a big city penthouse during a dreary winter night in another episode. Good times.
