I'm amazed with all those color breaks that the ASM is in an 8.0 slab.

 

Far nicer book in hand.

 

So the color-breaking lines in the lower right corner of the front cover aren't really there?

 

I need to give up trying to guess the grades of comics that have been scanned first and pressed second. Congrats on the many upgrades.

 

I can see them clearly in the scan of the slab so they must still be there.

Compared to the other grading contests-- this one is a total crapshoot as you have to predict not only how well a book can be improved but also what CGC will grade that unseen finished product.

The absolute value of the difference was added up across all six books with the lowest number declared the winner. Highlighted guesses are straight bullseyes.

Each book will have its own post. I'm not offended btw if there is discussion over the books. I do want to point out that I keep hearing that CGC is under some sort of strict grading period. I felt this was definitely true on a particular invoice that I submitted in June.
