What silver age comic book series are you collecting?

How long have you been at it and how far into it are you at the moment?

 

For my part I am collecting Amazing Spider-Man #1 to #100 and Flash #105 to #200. I just started this week so I only purchased one of each. This is not a rush for me I just want to enjoy building both sets. May take years to do it and buy maybe 1 or 2 of each every month.

 

I purchased ASM #61 CGC 6.5 and Flash #199 CGC 7.5. I want to build both sets in CGC 6.0 or better.

 

I am also building the whole Hulk set from #102 to the final issue but all these are not graded they are for reading purposes only. So far I have almost every issues from #300 to the final issue published.

 

I believe once I am done I am going to go after Fantastic Four #1 to #50.

I've been at this a long time, but the only SA title I ever tried to complete was ASM. I have AF 15, and ASM 2-13, and 15-400. I probably won't get #s 1 or 14 at this point due to price...

How about buying a restored #1 and #14? That would be a lot cheaper.

I don't want them that bad anymore. My interests have morphed over the years. I collect a wide-range of titles, but only certain covers. One look at my flickr albums will show you how confused and out-of-control my collecting is...

a high grade copy of the first book i bought off the stands from each marvel title i collected as a kid [i remember the first one of each, i promise].

Most are not graded, some twenty or so keys are graded. The AF15 is raw around 5.0\5.5ish, and I paid 500.00 for it in the early 80's.

Because it's very sentimental to me,really the first book I ever paid that kind of dough on. I am afraid it could get lost in the mail. To be honest, it's not ever going to be for sale so why get it graded anyway.
