Lifespan of a well cared for comic book?

I would imagine it could last hundreds of years. I have newspapers from 1806 that still look fantastic.

 

Newspapers back then were printed on rag paper with very minimal wood pulp. Comics were printed on wood pulp paper with a high acid content and will not survive as long. We probably won't be around to care though...
