Anyway, the chaps at somethingawful certainly have picked a few covers that I always thought were pretty lame, and this pizztake was certainly due.......

DC were one of the few publishers whose output was scarcely affected by the comics code........strange that. Hard to believe judging from this that it would be National who would be the standard bearers of horror comics a decade and a half later.

National was a leader because they had Joe Orlando, EC horror alumni, as an editor.
