Aynone read the Captain Atom series from 1987?

I bought and read the first seven issues. It's been 28 years; can't remember much except I think Pat Broderick was the artist. I'll sell them to you if you want them.

It was good. An underrated character.

DC Comics hit it`s pick storytelling wise between 1982 to 1995. Thanks to the leadership of Paul Levitz,Jenette Kahn and Richard Giordano.

There are lots of good DC Comic book reads in that period..

With Captain Atom being one of them.

The Broderick art really tuned me off. I can't really enjoy anything he worked on. Just not a style I liked at all.

I don't recall the specifics but kid of remember they jumped thru hoops to have him seem less powerful than he was. I never liked the character.

They were good. The early issues with Pat Broderick art were much better than the later issues. This was one of Carey Bates' last work for DC, I believe.

Thanks everyone. A store by me has most of the run for dirt cheap so I bought issue 1 to check out and go from there.

I liked it. I started reading and collecting in 1986 as a kid. So all the books which came out in 86-90 I was hooked on, including Atom. Enjoy.
