Well seems we have highbrow company...

Best-selling writer Umberto Eco (The Name of the Rose, Foucault's Pendulum and The Island of the Day Before ....) one of today's literary giants actually learned English reading Spider-man !

Good piece. I just don't totaly agree with the comment about the comic books heroes being "mythical eunuchs". That is how it was years ago but nowadays they are allowed to have somwhat a normal life. For an example look at Mike Grell's GREEN ARROW. CHRIS
