PGM: FF 46 Little help please for a new collector

Hello. New collector and new to boards. I've studied the Overstreet grading book but I find it isn't so hopeful with helping to understand how to grade when defects aren't spine, edge, or corner related. Could you share thoughts related to the grade of this book? The spine and corners are really solid but you'll see the two long creases in the middle of the book with one that breaks color. Thanks in advance!

Wow that's a tough one-looks like an 8.0 without the creases with the creases I say 5.5?

Tough to grade as there's a lot of reflected light. Is the top staple still attached to the book? I'm around 5.0
