Hi everyone,

I just got Arnold T. Blumberg's Overstreet Photo-Journal Guide "The big Big Little Book book. Now I don't even collect BLB's, but the Photo-Journal is very interesting, and I recommend it,......even if it doesn't have a Market Report. poke2.gif

Good job, Arnold!

The book gives an historical overview of the BLBs and their publishers, a visual guide to grading BLBs, notes for storage and preservation. All in all, a good read!

And for Arnold,............. yay.gif

You did a nice job with this one, Arnold! thumbsup2.gif

I don't even collect BLBs, but I find it very informative; I'm a student in the hobby, and it's a great resource. You never know when you'll need the info.

Where's the dang Market report?!? sumo.gifpoke2.gif

Remember now, no pricing in this one, so no market report. It's about the history and the beautiful covers, and there's plenty of that to enjoy. smile.gif

I'd personally love to do a lot more guide books that offer a nice photographic historical overview of a collectible category, sans pricing. I just want to celebrate the history of these items.

I'll autograph stuff anytime, but I don't think we can send out signed stuff if someone orders a copy of the book. At least, I don't think we've ever done that. But give me a book at a show or something, I'll sign anything. smile.gif

You coming to the San Diego Comic Con? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Arnold;

Any chance of scanning us a copy of the front cover and a couple of the interior pages to give us the flavor of the book since I never saw a copy at my LCS? 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

What's the price on it since it sounds like it might be worthwhile to pick up a copy?

Anything on the Big Little Mother Goose Book HC since this is the only BLB I have at this point in time? Curious here since OS has this book listed as being Rare in last year's guide. Don't know if this has the same meaning as comics which defines Rare as 10 - 20 copies in existence. confused-smiley-013.gif

One of the great things about this book is that not only do they show the front covers of all of the BLB's (in color), but they also show the back cover and the spine. There is a lot of nice art you would be missing if only the front was shown.

Highly recommended.
