I have just started looking through my old collection, with the intent to selling some/all of it, and would like to calibrate my grading eye.

 

How does this somewhat beat up old Spider Man comic rate?

6.5 maybe 7.0 not sure how much hammering the grade gets for the scratches going through MJ.

Thanks, all. I had rated it as a 6.0 in my first pass while trying to decide what gets sent to CGC. At that grade it didn't make sense to send it in.

 

I'm really excited about all this - my interest has been rekindled and there have been a lot of fond memories. I collected mostly X-Men back in the '80s, and used eBay in the late '90s to complete my collection back to 94/GS1. From 94/GS1 through #141 they are in the 8.5 - 9.4 range as best as I can estimate, and I'm sending that portion in for grading. We'll see how my eye compares to the experts. What a great run of books.
