Even without the water stains, would it not be a stretch to call it a VF/NM given the excessive spine ticks along with the rounded corners, particularly on the bottom right corner?

As would I but if the seller has 'Kool Books" does it make a difference? I have seen a number of things go on over the years with a few racing to defend those who were in the wrong in hopes of gaining favor for "Kool Books".
