From the pix I saw it looked like they were the dollar reprints of the Daniel Way 2008 series. But really, I've seen books in way worse condition than this roadkilll pulled fresh out of a Diamond box that wasn't involved in a crash

I hear the same thing happened to Spawn 21. I have like 10 copies with $15 price tags on them. They must have been very rare.
