the reason it's $15 is because it's a three day show. It's an absolute rip off, and I've debated not going at all because of the price increase and the fact I'll be there only a short time. I think it might be cheaper to have books shipped to me.

it is going to be raining too.

a nice way to get your boxes of purchases wet.

i was looking forward (not to spending $15 though!) to this, but the thought of lugging damp books home with me isn't so appealing

Blob - if you know now that it will be raining next weekend, can you tell me what the S&P 500 index will be doing next week as well? I would prefer to make some money on some options rather than get me inventory wet hi.gif.

the weather man has put little dark cloudy rainy things on top of saturday and sunday in the forecast, so i'm figuring it's going to rain. i ain't no nostradamus here (or negrodamus for that matter), i'm just listening to the man on TV. when it comes to predicting lousy weather, they're usually right. just not so good at predicting good weather.

Guys, alright, so we have Virgil's and then there's always Charlie O's connected to the con and being in NYC hundreds of other places within a 10 block radius smile.gif

I don't care and am game for anything. Let me know what you guys think and i'll make a reservation on Thursday,

As the Yankees open the season on Sunday, and its pretty well established that there is always [#@$%!!!] weather for their home opener,I'm with the Blob on the rain/snow thing.I'm hoping to stop by the show, though for $15,perhaps con is a better word for it.
