Here's one you don't see every day...

What if they Call Me Chicken?a 1970 anti-drug giveaway published by the Kiwanis Club warning kids the dangers of dope. A 16 page self cover giveaway comic with wild content.

Book is a little faded. Has a light "subscription" crease in the center that does not break color. No tears or creases and tight with supple paper. I guess the kid was like me and didn't read it much...

$40.00

OK, how 'bout some Jungle Boogie?

Jungle Comics #77 May 1946 One of my favorite Friction House bondage covers!

A very bright copy for this publisher. Nice color which is paramount for me on these. Has a tiny bump tear at top of spine. A couple of 2" corner creases in upper right corner, as well as a couple longer creases that do not break color. Very slight spine roll probably from the printing plant. No other tears and no missing pieces. Tight, smooth spine well attached is centerfold to book. Pages are yellowed but fresh with slight bend to the top of the first few pages. A nice displaying copy.

$50.00

Annother cool diversion. Humor me guys, even if you don't, I love the "other" comic related stuff and if you don't you're missing out... Try and find one of these.

LONE RANGER 1940’s Socks Full Color Un-used Box Top. This is a printed flat that was never converted to an actual box top. Un-used and un-trimmed. It is approx 12" x 15". Printed in bright, full color. Maker is Sport-Wear Hosiery Mills Co. Has Lone Ranger copyright. Comes framed in a black metal frame with no glass. A real rarity and would look great on someone else's wall.

WAS $150.00 / NOW $125.00 + $15.00 postage

War Battles #5 Brutal Flame thrower cover and story! Pretty violent content as Harvey knew how to do.

A beauty, easily the best shape book I got on today. Harvey file copy with very nice pages for one of these. Slightly yellowed but not creamy. Bright, very glossy and tight with just the most minimal storage wear. Maybe just a very light spine bend or two. The colors just pop on this one. No tears, creases and pretty sharp corners. Bottom corner has a very tiny "bump" probably as manufactured. Sorry for the warped photo. My scanner died and I have yet to replace it.

$85.00 NO reduction. Hey Gang it is a file copy and already below guide...

Strange Fantasy #5 April 1953 Crazy Farrell horror book with Skull on cover. Burning alive, hand ripped off, a guy being swallowed up in a grave. This one's got it all. No wonder Wertham got so worked up, but I love this stuff!

A worn but solid copy. Has some ink scribbling on cover. A few small pieces of magci tape on spine. A couple small edge tears and light spine wear. A bit of wrinkling. Cover and centerfold are well attached and interior paper looks pretty white.

And even though I haven't sold one to you unbelievers, I'm going to list one more cool premium.

Lone Ranger 1941 Luminous Blackout Plastic Belt with Original Mailing box! Cool WWII premium. Still glows and appears basically un-used. These were pretty limited due to war time shortages. Very hard to find with mailer.

WAS $75.00 / NOW $70.00 (Hey it is rare AND has the MAILER!)

Well the pile is gone. Thanks so much to my buyers (and hopefully more). Hope you have had fun. I see my PM lite blinking so I better move on to that.

Since it looks like Skypinkblue and I are done, I encourage you to go over to my friend Catricks "Cornacopia" like I will and see if there are any scaps left...

I will keep this up until tomorrow night and then will send out invoices and close 'er down.

Until next time, see you in the funny papers...

Weird time again...

Blue Circle #3 Sept 1944 Funny Hitler as an octopus cover. Has oddball superhero stories. An odd book for sure.

This is a newstand return copy with the title cut off. A copy of the cover is included if you want to try and fix it up.Upper right corner is rounded and a little chipped. Some tale on the spine. Not pretty but a good filler until you want to pony up for a nicer copy like I did.
