Going to be in NYC this weekend for the basketball. Looked at the comic events forum to try to find a NY/NJ/CT show on Saturday, March 19, but did not see anything.

 

Anyone know of a show this weend in that general area? Thanks in advance and may your team advance as deep as their talent will take them.

Nope but if the title of your thread said something like "NYC, Brooklyn Shop or shows 03/19" (you can change it in the first post so it shows up) then some people might give you some ideas.

I would take a tour of the stores if you want but get yourstuff cheaper online. The only thing I would recommend is calling up Metropolis to see if they are offering any of their artwork showings. (Or buy something and ask to pick it up in person just to check out their offices. They are too cool)

 

Midtown Comics must laugh as you leave the store if you are buying back issues. Forbidden Planet has current comics toys and games... they don't stock back issues. If you are in NYC there is plenty to do besides go to Comic Book stores where you can pretty much get anything you would want online.

 

We offer what is most arguably the best dining in the world.

Go check out Wall Street, Federal Hall, the rebuilding of South Street Seaport, the WTC Memorial and fountains, the Brooklyn Bridge, the observation deck of the Empire State Building, the USS Intrepid, the Zoo... these are just the tourist spots...

 

So much to do... do stuff you would not normally get to do that you can only do in NYC. Comics are not one of them.
