Paul_Maul
I've always found FF 117 and 118 to be particularly cool and unique because of the rare combination of 20 cent price and old style FF logo. ChrispyC66
Steviehuv66
Great thread to start! I picked up FF # 128 from Superworld Comics at the Carbo Con in NY this month.

namisgr
It's too bad Steranko did only a couple of covers: ChrispyC66
Ken Aldred
At first glance you'd never think that the cover is by Steranko, but I suppose Sinnott's inking dominates there?
Jeffro.
Sinnott is a heavy inker, sometimes at the expense of the pencils
Paul_Maul
Sinnott is a heavy inker, sometimes at the expense of the pencils Maybe that's why I always enjoyed Kirby's FF work inked by Sinnott. It reigns in some of his more excessive tendencies. ChrispyC66
Dick Pontoon
I'm about 7 issues shy of the whole run up to 300 and beyond, and have been reading the post-Kirby issues like this one. ChrispyC66
Dick Pontoon
This one may not be much to look at, but it holds a special place in my collection since it's the first FF I bought off the racks. ChrispyC66
Dick Pontoon
One of the good things about pulling books for this thread is that I noticed I need to keep better track of which spinner rack purchases I need to upgrade; this is my second copy of FF #171. Mr Sneeze
Great books everybody! I love all of the alternate covers on the FF reprint titles. Still a few books here I would like to upgrade. I have found these books tough to find in higher grades. A lot of my original exposure to silver age FF was through Marvels Greatest Comics. Ghost Town
Yay. Great addition to the thread, Kaspar. And you're so right about the alternate covers. Though I'm still trying to figure out why Galactus has green hands on the MGC #37. And what happened to his gloves?

Though I'm still trying to figure out why Galactus has green hands on the MGC #37. And what happened to his gloves? The great coincidence is that the alternate covers are all(mostly) picture frames. The Gil Kane cover to 34 always blows me away - just a great composition! I never noticed Galactus having gloveless green hands till you said it. As a reader during the Bronze Age, these issues were my first look into the Silver Age past of the title, and will always have a special place in my collection. That the 'Marvel's Greatest' title began with an Inhumans story and then reprinted the Surfer-Galactus saga makes these especially memorable.
