I started reading DD at #178 off the stands and had try to find back issues but even then I could not afford #158 and 168 until many years later.

The Hot Wheels book will be shipped free to the first person that has already made a purchase from me who can answer this question:

If you have not already bought a book from me tonight, please do not answer.

Question: Name my youngest child? First name only.

Journey Into Mystery Annual 1 3.5 (1.5 inch spine split bottom) 26.00

Interesting Phenomenon on Ebay. When the seller references this as the first appearance of Hercules (which it is) the book sells well. But about half of the sellers don't seem to mention that and for them it sells poorly.

So......FIRST APPEARANCE OF HERCULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was pretty good for its time, I loved Miller up until his art got more abstract and his writing extra schlocky.

Oh, come on. Even today there are very few artists that can create drama and suspense just by sheer visual impact the way he did. I watched the movie 300 the other day and the best parts (of a really good movie) were directly stolen from Frank's comic. He did things no one did before him. Read the Born Again Daredevil TPB. I still get chills just thinking about the part where Iron Man raises his repulsors against DD and threatens him.

Night all. ....

I literally just read 300 the other day and enjoyed it immensely but I'm talking about his very recent stuff where he's almost deconstructed his own art. I'm not a fan of it and I don't get it but maybe I'm not supposed too.
