True because not all 0.5's look this nice. Most of the lower graded copies I've seen weren't this great looking. But it was surprising to me that it did sell for that kind of price.

GAtor you were SO right. The Heritage "super nice" .5 went for $57,360, and last night the Ebay Superman .5 went for $26,766. The ebay copy, besides not looking as nice, also had Brittle pages, which kept the price down too. Hard to believe anyone would spend that much on a brittle comic..... but it is a supe 1.

 

That's quite a swing in price for a .5.

 

I have a .5 too, and have been wondering how to value it. I'm glad these two auctions came up relatively close together in time.
