1966 Batpac *Sold*

I'd rather sell these to a Boardie, so here goes:

It's original, unopened and the comics untouched for almost 50 years.

Shipping will be bulletproof and at my cost, NOT the buyer's. It'll be signature required at the receiver end, so if I can't get that from a particular country, it won't be going.

Returns are no problem. If you are not happy, I am not happy. Send it back within 14 days undamaged and I'll refund.

I am aware that the Batman 181 is the Big Dog here, and I am also aware that its value has increased of late. All of these books are high grade.

Owing to time zone differences, I may be "slow" responding but I will answer all PM's as soon as possible.

PayPal is the preferred method of payment. Asking $US2,000

Oh, first :takeit: in the thread or PM takes it - time stamp to determine.

Now, this is my first sales thread, so please be gentle lol

Here are pics (taken yesterday). The red "schmutz" (technical term) is on the bag not the book.

I knew this would come up and I deliberately avoided assigning a grade. Why?

It is hard to grade "through the bag". I cannot see the back cover of any of the books.

However, I'd venture that based on the front cover alone it is at least 9.0.

The problem as stated though is being unable to examine the books "in hand" - but it is also part of the appeal, is it not?

If anyone is holding back because this is Duffman's first sale, fear not. I've done many a transaction with Peter over the years and he's a really stand up guy. (thumbs u

And Australia Post's tracking service is reliable, so shouldn't be any shipping drama.

Thanks for the support AJD (thumbs u ,-- the good one

I've had a few requests for close up pics (of spines and corners). It is hard to do this through the bag, but here are a few:

I know these are not very clear, (the camera keeps focusing on the bag, not the book) and I'll try to get a better scan shortly.

What a great piece of comic history. Wish I'd of seen it earlier :) It does lead me to a question though.

Will CGC encapsulate comics in a bundle like this? There would be the dilemma of listing all four titles but it got me thinking of what would be the best way to preserve a collectible that's bagged like this example. I'd think over time it would be hard to keep the bag itself in decent shape.

if stored properly I think the plastic can be healthy for many years. It's climate change and UV that tends to turn plastic brittle. So far it's survived but appears to have been in the right hands for quite some time.
