Thought I would update this thread with our key sales as best I can remember. Wall books were slow thanks to a struggling, oil based economy and a weak Canadian dollar. We have to mark our keys up 30 to 35 percent to reflect exchange rates and Goods and Service Tax. We did quite well on modern keys and sold close to 50% of our sets.

Fantastic Four 1 (time payments)

Batman Adventures 12

Amazing Spider-man 300

Amazing Spider-man 100

Amazing Spider-man 361 9.8 and 9.6

Iron Man 1

Wolverine 1 mini series X 3

Marvel Mystery 27

Human Torch #3 (2)

Tales of Suspense 57

Fantastic Four 72 (high grade)

Fantastic Four 25

Despite having 5 copies of New Mutants 98 we did not move any. Clearly the time to sell a key book, especially CA or MA is before the movie rather than after. We also did not sell a copy of Hulk 181 or 180 despite having 2 copies of each. Last year we had 5 copies of Hulk 181 and sold the 4 nicest.

Absolutely loved this bunch. They worked for the Casino and came in costume to invite people to an after show party.

The girl in white was my favorite

I think Wonder Woman would eventually notice me following her around the convention. This blurry picture should result in a wrist slap.

Avengers #66 CGC 9.2 (1st Adamantium! lol)

Giant-Size X-Men #1 CGC 8.5

New Mutants #1 CGC 9.6

Fantastic Four #53 - sold by Dave and Karl. Thanks!

Wolverine LS #1 x 3

Spectacular Spider-Man #64 x 5 (including two to Greggy!)

X-Men #142 x 2

The hottest books of the first two days were.............

Batman vs TMNT #1 - 7 copies

(Brian/500Club sold more copies of both than that)

I also moved a pile of Harley Quinn and Deadpool books.

Also, Spider-Gwen vol 1 #1 was a hot seller at $8 apiece again this year. lol
