Popular Comics #21, 1937

Pages are ow/cream and very supple. There is a tape pull on the front cover, the cover is detached from the comic. The inside of the cover is as white as the word balloon on the front. It's almost 80 years old.

Grade is Good+ (2.5) OSG in Good is $63, VG is $126. Bin is $75.

Popular Comics #28, 1938

Centerfold is detached and the next centerfold is detached at the bottom staple.

Not pictured in Gerber! Metropolis has it listed as scarce.

Cover is split ½ “ at the top and the bottom. There is some foxing at the back and there is dirt on the front cover.

The pages are supple and in the cream range. There are some stains on the pages and a very small tear on the front right edge. Grade is VG (4.0), OSG is $98 in VG Bin is $95 Sold to Norrin's lawyer

Popular Comics #29, 1938.

It would be about a fine, but there are 2 inches of chews on the bottom of the spine and the pages are separated because of them. Both staples are attached and the pages are in the W/OW range.

I have no idea what to grade it, so I'm going to price it at half of Good. $25.00

Great color, pages in the W/O range (not bad for 78 years), There is a small corner crease lower right and a very small tear on the upper right edge.

Grade is Fine- (5.5) OSG in Fine is $147, bin is $120 Sold by PM to S

Popular Comics #33, 1938

 

Great color, pages in the OW range. There is a 1/4” tear on the top edge and a tiny pencil point hold on the back cover (I think it might have been done with a pencil) , tiny chips tops and bottom of the spine on the back cover, very small corner crease lower right. It's a nice copy. Grade is Fine- (5.5)

Popular Comics #42, Nice color on the cover, there is a 1.5” split at the bottom that goes through all the pages and a 1” split at the top that goes through all the pages. There are some chips at the corners of the pages at the bottom, the pages there are tanning, the rest of the book is better. Book is readable , Free with the next purchase:)

1'4” split at the bottom, goes through some wraps. Pages are OW/Cr. Some light tanning at the bottom of the inside covers. Paper is present in the middle of the front cover, just folded back. Grade is Gd/VG. OSG in GD is $13 VG is $26, ($19.50) bin is $12.

Book is complete inside with a detached centerfold and nice pages, but the cover is a mess at the bottom, something chewed it and I hope it was bugs, I'm not asking. Free with Vol 1 #4. Sold to Inaflash
