Chromium Covers - any idea how many?

Anyone know if there is a true list of all the chromium covers that the comic industry has produced? It would have to include the Walking Dead 100 and the Age of Ultron variant. I've never seen a list.

There's a Marvel Collectible Classics / Spider-man 1 that I just found out about today. I snagged it at a local show in a trade..... it was steep, but Sider-man 1 was the book that got me back into collecting 25 years ago, and I really dig chromium covers. Cool idea for a thread....... I don't care much for foil.... but chromium and 3-D are :cloud9: GOD BLESS...

I'm not sure exactly what I paid..... it was part of a trade and he had it marked at 300 bucks...... but for some reason it just blew me away. I had some breathing room in what I traded, but I bet it still cost me a couple hundred, all things considered..... but it might be my favorite book from the show. I guess I'll just stick it in the box with the other versions of the cover...... I still need a Platinum...... and maybe that rare gold variant...... might as well go all the way. GOD BLESS....

Thanks, I dig chromium ones too. I have a soft spot for the 1990's and the craziness in the comic industry.

Same - sucker for chromium. I didn't realize any were worth anything lol.

Also - there are a couple of Marvel Collectable Classics X-Men - I've got one that reprints Days of Future Past iirc.

 

Not sure how many in total though under that Classics banner.

The Marvel collectible classic Xmen #4 is my favorite, its a reprint of Xmen 25 with an original Chromium cover by Andy Kubert

X-O Manowar #0 Ivory isn't a variant. There's just some variation in the printing during production that makes it look not quite as bright.

Turok 1 Gold (also has a VVSS edition, but the actual book is the same as the regular Turok 1)

The first full chromium cover, front and back, was X-O Manowar #0.

 

The first book with a chromium cover (any part) was Bloodshot #1, released the same day at Superman #75.

 

Because there was a single day that saw the Death of Superman and the Birth of Chromium, it seems like a good case could be made that Copper Age ended that day and Chromium Age began.

Indicia says "Marvel Collectible Classics X-Men #2" and it does indeed reprint UXM 141-142.

 

Now I need to find out what was in #1...lol
