Gem City Books Ohio
Hi, I'm Ray from Gem City Books. I'm sure many of you are familiar with our set up at major comic book shows across the US. I posted a "Help Wanted" post over in the Water Cooler topic in the general discussion. One of the shows we would like help at is the 2017 Phoenix show. When I say Help, I mean run the booth for the weekend. I'd send a pallet of graphic novels and you run the booth. Sell our books and get paid a commission. You would basically be a temporary employee. Detailed instructions on how to run the booth, easy load in and no load out (100% sell through). Check out the discussion over at the Water Cooler or email me at ray@gemcitybooks.com if you are local to Phoenix and are interested. I can fill in more details. If you can't, but know someone who can, pass on my contact information.
ciorac
Just a few weeks away now and we will be setup with a booth again this year. Stop by and check out our wide variety of Silver, Bronze, Golden Age, Magazines and Orignal Art. Who else is going? FoggyNelson
Hekla
I'll stop by & visit... I'm interested to see what original art you may bring. BTW, looks like a few interesting comic creators have been added in the last couple of weeks. I'm glad to see they are getting fresh faces. I'm still hopeful that more comics creators are added by the week before (which typically happens more often than not)

mister_not_so_nice
I've never had a problem with parking in the past (vendors got a discount code for a specific garage), but this year it's looking like a disaster. Is it as much of a disaster as it looks like? Or am i missing something?
robocard
Mike and I will be loading the truck tomorrow and setting up Wednesday- of course it will be 105-107 during those days and then "cooling" off to 99 starting Thursday. I hope that is not a sign of our luck for the show. Hope to see a few locals this year as we both have lots of new stock. Ed
