there is no way to drag and drop score below bottom screen to your desired books

Really? I had no difficulty repositioning books when testing earlier. Just move titles part way if you can't scroll past a certain point, scroll and move again. It might take a little longer, but you should be able to position each comic in it's proper rank without too much difficulty.

I'll admit that the polling framework doesn't do everything perfectly, but once you get used to the format it works pretty well.

Nevertheless, I'll convey your complaint to our tech guru, and thanks for the input. (thumbs u

Yeah, I could conduct a poll of great underrated GA covers that would be almost as compelling. Who knows, if this goes and the folks at Heriage like our polling we might do one of those for a future issue of Intelligent Collector.

Thanks for participating and providing input. :headbang:

I've heard fully functional blow-up dolls are also available. hm

Seriously, thanks for casting your votes, and please keep selections private ...at least 'till after the polls close later this week. (thumbs u

I'm fond of all the stand out covers. hm

Far be it from me to criticize kav for being a deer in the headlights.

It's an especially outlandish example of the kind of GGA/pinup style cover that was highlighted by Fredric Wertham in "Seduction of the Innocent," so it really epitomizes a facet of comic-book history and the late 1940s era.

Actually, those GGA pinup covers from the GA are tame compared to the MA semi-porno unrealistic anatomic covers that we see on today's comics. :gossip:

Yea... we've fallen a long ways.

I was voting for best artwork, most inspirational and best example of a hero at work.... not some mark made on society. Wertham was right to point out how blatant that cover is. It has no redeeming value that I can see. What's so great about making a mark for crossing the line farther than anyone else has yet ?

I don't see how PL17 could NOT be on the list.

I am NOT saying where I ranked it or where I think it should fall, but it deserves to at least be on the list. After all it is an iconic cover of the time. Having been featured in "SOTI", perhaps made it even more of a classic GGA cover. (for those looking for it in SOTI, just open to almost the dead center of the book and there it is).

Even Gerber put it on the cover of the first volume of his Photo Journal. Not only is it on the front cover, it is in the most coveted spot on the cover; the top right hand position. I do not intend to get into the science of things, but those who know of such, know that the eye first catches what is in the top right hand position. Clearly Gerber thought it a worthy cover, and who am I to disagree with a legend like Gerber?

Of course, as a matter of full discloser, I will admit I am bias; as an owner of a PL17.

Great poll!

Actually, I was poking fun at kav with the deer in the headlights comment. I guess it was a little obtuse. :sorry:
