Regardless of whatever courier I use, I would video record the process of my packaging the books and sealing the box. Writing my initials on the tape as an extra precaution.

With USPS registered mail, they tape the seals with their own tape, and then stamp all over the tape.

Pretty safe with this service package goes up front with driver and signed for each stop
