No graders notes??

I have an IH 181 9.6 I picked up. It says it was graded Aug 2010. Under graders notes it says "None Available". Couple people told me they've never seen that before. If I call CGC do you think they'd have them?

It's very common for high grade books not to have them. Just go to ebay, search on "cgc 9.8" or "cgc 9.6", pick any book and look for its grader notes. It probably won't have any.

If I'm correct, graders' notes are not created for submissions through one of the less expensive tiers (Economy?).

 

I only suspect this because I've come across lower-graded books (relative to 9.6...for example, 8.0) that did not have graders' notes.

 

Hopefully someone will be able to correct me if I'm wrong on this.

It's not just the less expensive tiers. I use Modern Fast Track, and rarely get graders notes on 9.6's. It seems to be completely at random, so you're left wondering what kept the book from being a 9.8. And, then I've gotten notes on 9.8's a couple of times.

I sent in 20 books to be graded and got notes ONLY for 1 book.About half came back 9.2 or less still no notes.

Even when I look them up no notes.
