Catman Comics #32 FN was $1800 NOW $1650

 

In my opinion, this is the book to have of this run. (of which this is the last issue) Fantastic classic LB Cole cover, and not a book you see for sale very often. It's been the jewel of my collection for quite some time, but circumstance required that I sell it.

 

Incredible color strike on cover. Tight staples (although top staple is slightly weak), and centerfold is good. There appears to be a modicum of residual rust just under the staple heads, but no migration at all. I think the staples probably had a dusting of rust at one point from condensation (as opposed to immersion) then, over time, rubbed off the top naturally. Actually, I'm willing to bet the rust on the paper would "rub" off as well if one were so inclined and had access. It is in no way soaked in. But don't take my word for it, check out the pics. (Scan isn't great, in-hand, the color on the cover is so much richer and vibrant. Truly a fantastic specimen of this issue)

 

This is a solid and flat book with stunning color inside and out. Don't miss out on this book!

 

Update: I've added new pictures of the staples for those interested. I have full confidence these are the original staples, uncleaned and in their original positions as evidenced by the matching indentations opposite the legs as well as the lack of older impressions or metal staining.
