Van Helsing Season 3 Release Date Possibilities and More

Quote

Season one premiered in late July, while season two had a more traditional October premiere date. With any luck, Van Helsing season 3 will arrive in October of 2019. We'll update this with official confirmation as soon as we have it.

In the meantime, filming continues with familiar directors like Jason Priestley:

This show definitely has found its legs throughout Season Two.

Tricia Helfer, the Canadian actress best known for portraying Number Six on the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series (2004-2009), is returning to Syfy to join the Season 4 cast of the action-horror series Van Helsing  in the role of Dracula. Nomadic Pictures and Dynamic Television also just announced four other cast additions for the 13-episode season that gets underway this fall: Richard Harmon (The 100), Nicole Munoz (Defiance), Keeya King (Jigsaw), and pro-wrestler Big Show (WWE/SmackDown) are all on board but in undisclosed roles.

Helfer, more recently seen on Lucifer as the Devil’s mother, will bring a lot of bite to Van Helsing’s dark conflict between the living and the undead, according to Chad Oakes, Executive Producer and Co-Chairman of Nomadic Pictures.

I have not watched season 3 yet. How was it?

Intense. You will see character transitions occur from Season 1 they can't come back from. Including some actions on Vanessa's part. :whatthe:

Van Helsing to End After Season 5 on Syfy

Quote

The story of Van Helsing will get to continue past its Season 4 finale this week, which is certainly good news for the fans of the show. However, the Syfy series is only going to last one additional year after this season. THR broke the news on Tuesday that Syfy's beloved genre series had been renewed for a fifth season in 2020, but that the upcoming installment would be its last. Production on the fifth and final season is set to begin early next year.

"We are thrilled to be able to bring the amazing Van Helsing saga to a close," said executive producer Chad Oakes. This could not have been done without the support of our incredible cast, crew, Syfy, Netflix [which streams the series] and Super Ecran."
