Stan Lee came up with an idea to do a mag about doors and their related hardware. He was particularly interested in decorative knobs and flanges. Martin Goodman said no and that he should come up with a superhero book instead, Stan did and history was made. However, if you look closely at early issues of Fantastic Four, you can find many door related easter eggs. Stan's first no prize was awarded to an eagle eyed reader who was the first to write a letter mentioning door related stuff.

Nobody then or now drew a door like Jack Kirby.
