This is what I do. I take care of all my parcel carriers throughout the year. They will actually double back to drop off boxes if I am not at home the first attempt.

 

That and get a bigger mailbox.

 

Being thankful for their services, and *being human* is a 100% win strategy. We all agree. This applies not to just mail folks but just about everything in life. I used to work in providing services, and the small gesture will pay many times its investment.
