this is pretty solid....5.5 or maybe a bit better, looks better than the 6.0 slab that sold for $160 on ebay as the spine was a bit weak on that one?

 

overstreet is $180 in Fine and it's got "Hey Look" by kurtzman and a nice GGA mad cover....

Northwest Mounties #1...not an easy book to come by $40

 

has a tear in the front cover, but otherwise solid and complete with nice pages and great interior art.

 

not sure what to grade it probably 2.0

 

this book also has four staples from production, 2 into book alone, and 2 into book and cover, must be from production.

Rangers 29...classic GGA bondage cover...just happened to have a duplicate and have been just holding onto it, but I guess it's time to move it along...

Surface rust on staples but no significant migration at the cover and the centerfold is tightly attached with no signs of rust or migration. Pages are tanning but supple. Solid flat copy that would probably grade out in the 4.0 range but structurally looks nicer from the front.

Blue Beetle 52...a personal favorite of mine and from an OO collection i purchased years ago. Phyllis was her name....sweet lady. Going to call it a 3.0 This book has blinding nice pages and has enough general wear and scribbling to keep it somewhat affordable. $250

bought this on the boards a while back and seller said that they thought the staples might have been replace. I'll just come out and say staples have been replaced as original staples must have been rusted as there's some discoloration signs at the centerfold. This is a nice tight copy and a great read with excellent page quality. Staples used for replacement are not vintage and are more of a slightly thicker industrial square type but it looks really good and was well done.

 

Not sure what I paid, but I'm going to ask $75 for this book
