I've never seen the ComicCollectors.net catalog before. I'll have to start looking for it on ebay.

I bid in most of these auctions but was almost always outbid. I couldn't believe the crazy prices on the precode books.

The only one I recall winning anything was the Executive Collectibles 1996 auction featuring the Aurora collection. I won several lots and still have Journey Into Fear 5 and 8.

Just for the record... the Capt. Science #2 9.6 Bethlehem did not come out of the 2000 auction... There are three 9.6's I believe. Mine was purchased many years ago from Phill Weiss the original dealer who uncoverd the Bethlehem collection.

Incredible run of Capt. Sciences', Sartre.

I only posted these catalog pages to show the younger PCH collectors a little history

of how ,where and when many of the HG books became available to the general public, as a question was asked from a previous posting.

Will there ever be another Spokane, Northford or River City type horror collections to surface? :wishluck:

Thanks...

If I can locate an old Gregg Manning catalogue I'll post some pages... I remember being at one sale when the Spokane Weird Tales of the Future #7 was sold for $7500 hammer... I think that was a landmark price back then.

Beautiful books, satre! :cloud9:

Between 1998 and 2002 you had those three collections and a large portion of the Bethlehem horror books being released on the market. In the decade since, books have come out in small packets, like McLaughlin's Church copies back in 2006.
