A.) Graded every book on my cell phone, which is wonderful practice for when Im sniping books on da crapper

 

B.) I tied Comicdey who I believe is a 2 or 3 time grading contest champ for 46th place. At least Im in good company

nailed the DD 1 at 6.0 (helps when you have seen so many of them while dreaming of getting a grail book)

Awesome that there were six folks with 50% or better bullseyes across 20 books! Wow!

 

Those guys are certainly in tune with CGC!

 

 

And it's funny that me and THB both started in 142nd place (dead last) and we both ended at 55th place! We each climbed 87 spots out of that deep hole!

I've been so close throughout the last few years of grading contests, so I'm ecstatic that I just barely squeaked by. I was very nervous about the Avengers 57 and didn't have full confidence that I could pull through after being in the company of some tough competition last round. This year seemed to be tougher and more surprising (although more fun!) than previous years as well.

 

Thank you again to thirdgreenham (Andy) and sckao (Shin) for the time and effort you put into the contest - and the crazy confusing emojis! I look forward to this event every year.
