95% Bronze Age Captain America collection

2 posts in this topic

Hello everybody.

Hello Moderators - I did my best with my homework. I checked with Comics.org to follow all dated issues. My understanding is that Bronze Age should be in 1970 to 1985 if I am correct. Starts with #194 until last Bronze Age CA #312 was printed on December 1985. I have only 9 issues that went beyond BA. Hopefully this is qualified to sell here. If not, you can move this to Mixed Ages Threads. :foryou:

Usual rule: No HOS and Probies.

Winner: Either PM me with time stamp - OR - Post with :takeit: icon.

Payment: PayPal, Check (please allow one week to clear it) or MO

Shipment: Free pick-up. I will use FedEx. For Comic books - approximately 27 lbs and 9 CGC copies - approximately 10 lbs. It will be two shipments. I need your zip code so I can calculate the shipping cost. You will pay the shipping cost and I will pay the full insurance and use the packing supply at my own expense.

The full description of the books:

Be clear that I WILL NOT break up. You got a great deal here.

I personally cherry-picked them through the shows, auctions and other events - it took me 6 years.

Bronze Age: Captain America #194-230, 232-244, 246-274, 276-312 and Annual 3 & 4 - Mostly are NM or better (some are NM- and fewest are VF/NM).

Modern Age: Captain American #313-318, 332 (Old CA retired), 359-360 (cameo and full appearance of Crossbones) and Annual 8 (CA vs Wolverine) & 10.

There are doubles:

206, 208-209, 213, 215, 217 (1st appearance of Quasar -yes I realized I have two books not in the picture), 219, 226, 227, 230 (Hulk appearance), 234-235, 237, 241 (Punisher & Miller cover), 242-243, 251-254, 256, 257.

46th Edition of Overstreet Price Guide = $1674. It doesn't go beyond NM- 9.2. I am very sure this collection will be more than OPG price especially several key issues.

CGC copies and GPAnalysis (average price):

CA #199 CGC 9.6 WP - $60

CA #205 CGC 9.8 WP - $85

CA #231 CGC 9.8 WP - $65

CA #236 CGC 9.8 WP - $50

CA #239 CGC 9.8 WP - $55

CA #245 CGC 9.8 WP - $60

CA #250 CGC 9.8 WP - $100

CA #257 CGC 9.8 WP - $45

CA #275 CGC 9.6 SS WP (Mike Zeck signed) - $100

The total value is $2294. My asked price is $2100. REMEMBER AGAIN. I used NM- 9.2 price ONLY! If you grade #217, #241 and #360, you will get more money. This is my sacrifice for your PROFIT.
