Question about "pebbeling"

Many people have the (wrong) opinion that the grading notes are 100% complete. They are not. Just because pebbling is the only defect listed in the grading notes doesn't mean it's the only defect the book has. It was the defect the graders noted. There might be others. There probably is others.

 

Not so much here, but I've read many a FB discussion where people were convinced - then incensed when told otherwise - that if they had the one defect listed on a 9.6 or 9.8 book fixed then they would obviously be guaranteed a 10.0 upon resubmission.

 

Repeating myself, but grading notes are not 100% complete. Grading notes take up a lot of the graders time. They only hit the highlights
