These books are all very flat, very high cover gloss reflectivity, sharp 90 degree corners, never before been read with white paper. Some copies have duplicates. Sorry to hear that, friend. After his initial posts, I requested scans of the Detective 423 & 424, and the scans were enough to tell me that his "NM" and my "NM" were pretty far apart...

 

But in the initial post, he does say he'll refund if not satisfied. Have you emailed him?

Well, not really. While the prices I paid are fair for 9.4, they're way too high for anything lower.

 

The Detective #457 would be NM, but there are about a dozen small, light creases on the spine.

 

The Superman #317 has a bump on the top of the BC, which drops it to a 9.2.

 

Nice books, but the value of 9.4 vs. 9.2 or 9.0 is dramatic.
