PGM Batman 23, Joker Cover

I was interested in what people think CGC would do with this one. It is a pretty solid book but it has the writing in Robin's cape so how much would they downgrade it for this?

Some higher resolution scans would be great, including one of the back cover. But, from what I can see that book is really nice! Awesome!

Agreed. looks like a solid midgrade copy, but hard to gauge more accurately. The writing might effect the potential value, as it's a bit more than just a simple name, but probably will have little to no impact on how CGC would grade it.

I've seen some books with neatly written names seem to not get downgraded much at all in mid grade. However it may still influence the market value.

God how can anyone read cursive like that? Does it say "Gerald from aunt Mildred"? Personally, I enjoy date stamps and usually hate names, but this inscription is pretty neat.

looks really nice for sure. Need a BC scan as already noted, and scans/pics out of the bag for sure.

 

could actually be a 8.0+ Qaulified? from what is presented at this point

Writing does not bother me a bit. Looks like period fountain pen. Great sig placement by aunt Mildred too!
