Forum selling question.

5 posts in this topic

Was not really sure where to put this question, but here seemed OK. If I am planning on selling runs and lots on the market forum, how many issues per lot is preferred? I would be mainly selling long runs and lots of well known series. Do people here prefer large lots or complete runs even if they are possibly 100 books or more? Or is it better to break them down into groups of 5 or 10 books? Thanks.

It really depends what you're selling. If they're low-value, low-grade, common, or otherwise not sexy, it's probably not worth your trouble to list separately.

This topic has been discussed in detail on the boards before, so search around a little bit. :)

Something else to consider: bargain lots/runs are great, but they can also be heavy, and thus are often not such a bargain for your buyers (nor as profitable for you) when you factor in the cost of shipping them...
