Long time lurker, first time poster. Anyway, I'm interested in purchasing (and/or trading for) the cover for Uncanny X-Men #251 (Silvestri).

No luck yet. I attempted to contact Marc over a decade ago but never heard anything back.

Try again. Would love to hear a success story with this! Turns out not many of his X-men covers have gone to market. Doesn't mean he owns them but they seem to not surface often - granted there only 30 or so.

 

I've owned a few Silversti X-Men pages but not cover.

Sometimes helps to advertise your offer. Assuming this is likely a $20k+ cover, the owner may take more interest if you let them know what you're willing to pay.

 

Unfortunately, it's not a piece in my collection.

Probably worth its own thread, but is this a good tactic? Or will the owner just decline/ignore and then use your offer as a "bid" against others in the future.
